It was a full slate of games down on the farm for the Seattle Mariners Monday. Here’s how the prospects fared:

Lewis homered for the second straight day and did so after falling behind 0-2. He worked it back to 3-2 and drilled a fastball 400-plus feet to right field — straight away right field.

No. 6 Evan White, 1B
MON: 1-4, SO
2019: .263/.348/.263, 2 RBI, 2 BB, 7 SO

No. 14 Dom Thompson-Williams, OF
MON: 1-4
2019: .364/.429/.909, 2 HR, 6 RBI, BB

No. 18 Wyatt Mills, RHR
MON:
1.1 IP, 4 SO
2019:
2 IP, 4 H, 4 ER, 2 BB, 4 SO

Mills dominated in this one after a rough debut Friday night, striking out all four batters he faced. The sidewinder used a fastball (91-95) and slider (79-82) to baffle NW Arkansas batters.

Impressively, after falling behind the first batter 3-1, he buried a sinker for a called strike at the bottom of the zone to make it 3-2 and got the strikeout looking on a slider on the outside corner.

Mills got the second batter swinging on a sinker fading away from a left-handed batter on another 3-2 pitch. The third batter, a righty, fanned looking on a fastball outer half and the final out of the game came on a fastball-fastball-fastball sequence — all swinging.
