No. 4 Justin Dunn, RHS (23)
TUE: DNP
2019: 127.2 IP, 113 H, 50 ER, 37 BB, 153 SO

Dunn was pulled after four innings and 49 pitches for workload purposes, since he either has a few big-league innings to throw in September or some playoff innings — or a bit of a both.

In this outing, there was more evidence of the 55-60 slider, a pitch that was on and off the first half of the year.

No. 25 Dom Thompson-Williams, OF (24)
TUE: 1-4, 2 SO
2019: .231/.297/.386, 23-2B, 3-3B, 12 HR, 40 RBI, 35 BB, 148 SO, 15 SB

DT-W has been in a funk the second half of the season and on the surface it appears to driven by the poor contact rates.

He’s fanned in 18 of his last 38 at-bats and 33 of his last 79. Since the end of June, the lefty-hitting outfielder is batting .206/.253/.306 with 72 punchie and nine walks.

All the physical skills are there. He has bat speed and average raw power. But the hit tool has taken a nosedive.

No. 27 Jake Haberer, RHR (24)
TUE: DNP
2019: 37 G, 48.1 IP, 36 H, 30 BB, 67 SO

No. 31 Joey Gerber, RHP (22)
TUE: 2 IP, H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 SO
2019: 42 G, 47.1 IP, 34 H, 18 ER, 19 BB, 66 SO

Gerber has allowed four earned runs in 17 appearances for the Travelers, covering 20.2 innings. He’s fanned 27 and walked just seven in that span. Gerber has a shot to be a very good middle reliever.

2019: 43 G, 64.2 IP, 34 H, 22 BB, 111 SO

TUE: 1-3, 2 BB
2019: .326/.388/.530, 23-2B, 3-3B, 11 HR, 61 RBI, 23 BB, 72 SO

No. 29 Raymond Kerr, LHP (24)
TUE:
2019: 35 G, 89 IP, 83 H, 49 BB, 90 SO

Since May 26 when Kerr went from the rotation to the bullpen, minus one short start on June 23, the lefty has made 25 appearances covering 48.2 innings. He’s yielded 42 hits and compiled a 59-25 K/BB ratio.

Since June 27, Kerr allowed 18 hits and three earned runs in 28.2 innings, walking 13 and striking out 39.

No. 6 George Kirby, RHS (21)
TUE: DNP
2019: 9 G, 21 IP, 15 H, 2 ER, 0 BB, 21 SO

Kirby still has yet to yield a base on balls over 89 batters faced.

Here’s why Kirby ranks this high.

No. 11 Brandon Williamson, LHS (21)
TUE: DNP
2019: 13.1 IP, 9 H, 4 ER, 5 BB, 23 SO

Williamson has been good in short stints since making his debut July 12, and Saturday was one of his better outings. Lots of strikes, touching 96 mph and flashing an above-average slider for which NWL batters are no match.

No. 18 Damon Casetta-Stubbs, RHS (19)
TUE: DNP
2019: 106.2 IP, 109 H, 40 BB, 96 SO
