SAT: 0-4, SO
2019: .336/.405/.443, 8-2B, 2 HR, 18 RBI, 15 BB, 25 SO

MLB Sam Tuivailala, RHR (rehab) — Saturday was the right-hander’s best outing by far as he struck out the side and threw 10 of 15 pitches for strikes. He showed an above-average slider with spotty command, life on the fastball to the armside and sat mostly in the low-90s, but hit 94 a few times.

The punchouts came twice swinging and once looking, all on the fastball. Tui’s probably going to get another 4-6 outings on rehab.

2019: 19.2 IP, 24 H, 13 ER, 3 BB, 15 SO, 6.75 ERA

Casetta-Stubbs now has struggled two starts in a row and the ‘why’ is simple: command.

He’s also backed up his breaking ball some, but he avoided the walk again in this one, which is a good sign.
