NOTE 1: The players below aren’t assigned to the teams, they’re assigned to the pick number — the teams are moving around like crazy all season. There’s no point in projecting and predicting a year out. So if you see a player next to your team and think “why would they go that way again?” well, maybe they wouldn’t. When the order is set, the players will move around some.
NOTE 2: Teams don’t draft for need in Round 1. If your team took a shortstop in 2017 (and he appears to be panning out in the minors or better), but a shortstop is clearly the best player available when your team picks again in 2020, your team is probably taking another shortstop. Draft the best assets. Never leave talent on the table because “we don’t need a ____.”
