Here’s how Monday went for the top prospects.

Class-A West Virginia — South Atlantic League

No. 2 — Jarred Kelenic, OF
MON: 2-3, RBI, BB, SB
2019: .317/.427/.460, 6-2B, HR, 9 RBI, 11 BB, 18 SO, 3 SB

Kelenic is 18 for his last 37 with six extra-base hits.

No. 4 — Julio Rodriguez, OF
MON: DNP (weather) (IL, wrist)
2019: .355/.429/.452, 3-2B, 3 RBI, 4 BB, 5 SO

Word came out Friday that additional tests on Rodriguez’s wrist revealed a hairline fracture after the HBP last Friday. He’ll miss 4-6 weeks, which would mean he could be out until June.

No. 7 Logan Gilbert, RHS
MON: DNP
2019: 14 IP, 5 H, ER, 3 BB, 22 SO

High-A Modesto — California League

No. 11 Cal Raleigh, C
MON: 0-4, 2 SO
2019: .220/.303/.407, 2-2B, 3 HR, 12 RBI, 7 BB, 16 SO

No. 23 Joey Gerber, RHP
MON: DNP
2019: 4.2 IP, 2 ER, 3 BB, 7 SO

UR Jake Haberer, RHR
MON: DNP
2019: 5 G, 8.1 IP, 2 H, BB, 12 SO

Waiting for Haberer to start getting some high-leverage opportunities. His stuff and command suggest he’s ready for that challenge.

Double-A Arkansas — Texas League

No. 5 Kyle Lewis, OF
MON: 2-3, RBI, SB, BB, SO
2019: .210/.319/.387, 3-2B, 3B, 2 HR, 11 RBI, 10 BB, 21 SO

No. 6 Evan White, 1B
MON: DNP (IL)
2019: .308/.367/.385, 2-2B 3 RBI, 2 BB, 8 SO

Sanchez threw 90 pitches Monday, 59 for strikes, marking the second time in three outings he’s reached 90 pitches. He threw 93 two starts ago.

No. 18 Wyatt Mills, RHR
MON:
0.2 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, BB
2019:
7 IP, 11 H, 9 ER, 6 BB, 8 SO

2019: 1-0, 5 SV, 1.35 ERA, 6.2 IP, 5 H, 2 BB, 8 SO

No. 24 Jake Fraley, OF
MON: 0-4, SO
2019: .246/.333/.377, 2B, 2-3B, HR, 8 RBI, 7 BB, 16 SO, 5 SB

No. 3 Justin Dunn, RHS
MON: DNP
2019: 14.1 IP, 10 H, 3 ER, 5 BB, 21 SO

Triple-A Tacoma — Pacific Coast League

No. 1 Justus Sheffield, LHP
MON:
3 IP, 2 H, ER, 3 BB, 2 SO
2019:
4 G,18.1 IP, 13 H, 8 ER, 14 BB, 11 SO, 4 HR

The Mariners may be prepping Sheffield to serve as the piggyback for Yusei Kikuchi, though it’s weird to do so with a potential No. 2 starter who isn’t throwing the ball well right now; Sheffield’s command remains a problem. He’s issued a walks+homer rate nearly equal to his innings converted and threw just 27 of 46 pitches for strikes Monday.

No. 8 Shed Long, 2B/3B/OF
MON: 1-3, HR, BB, 2 S0
2019: .278/.358/.403, 2B, 3B, 2 HR, 10 RBI, 9 BB, 19 SO

No. 16 Braden Bishop, CF
MON: 1-4, HR, 2 RBI, BB
2019: .288/.390/.424, 6-2B, HR, 7 RBI, 11 BB, 17 SO
