I have noticed that since I enrolled there wasn't much that was subscribers only and now after waiting for the handbook I find that I have to pay again.....please advise |

If you had an SP who was the very definition of average--50's for fastball, slider and changeup--be he could throw those pitches exactly where he wanted every single pitch--what would his xFIP be? Instead of comps to HOF players and other hype, it has a very "realistic" feel too it. It is adding to my sense that what the M's have is a stable of potential good everyday players. Some of whom may have a couple of all-star appearances in them, but someone would have to break out to become a regular all star (Walker and Zunino probably have the most potential to do this). But other than that, there is the foundation of a very solid club down on the farm. Good thing for us baseball is a team sport. I will say I was a little surprised by a few rankings (Franklin, Paxton, and Hultzen), but there is a probably a "group" of players there that are awfully close. Also, that is part of cutting through the hype. Really 2013 is a big year for our farm, really the year where a lot of the players we've been watching should transition to the MLB, so it is time to see what they really are. Which pitcher is Hultzen, first half in AA (my belief) or second half AAA? Can Paxton muster enough control to be a starting pitcher? Etc. |
