There aren't many jobs in baseball that are more thankless than the middle or long reliever – especially if you’re a rookie. It's hard to earn a manager's trust during the first few years in the majors so rookies tend to toil in near obscurity in these low-leverage roles. That holds true for a number of the names below, but there are certainly a few diamonds-in-the-rough who have already started to earn better bullpen gigs.
